The Cabin in the woods review

On Saturday I had the pleasure to go and watch a movie at the cinema after a long time. The name? "The Cabin in the woods». It supposed to be a thriller but to be honest it ended up being a comedy... Did I enjoy it? Sure I did!! I haven't seen a movie like that for a long time and although the script writers were on weed and LSD at the same time, the result was entertaining!

The Avengers review

I saw yesterday the new , highly anticipated, Marvel's movie The Avengers. The movie had a lot of hype going on and to be honest it would be impossible that this wouldn't happen. It is a movie where you can see a lot of heroes fighting together and each other after all. So after watching the movies dedicated to each hero individually and enjoying all of them I was expecting that this movie wouldn't disappoint me as well. For what I think now after seeing it you will have to read a bit more.

Computer dependency. When enough is enough?

It is true that computers play a huge role in our lives. Their role was to help people with repetitive tasks especially calculations but now they can provide much more than that. They can provide us with information, entertainment even social interaction. I remember the times that something happened to my personal computer. I was completely annoyed until it was fixed. At those moments though I also noticed how much power that machine has on me. Now most people will say whatever I am not like that. Of course you are not until you realize that you cant live without your smart phone. They are little portable computers in a sense aren't they?

The perfect image showing this phenomenon is the following.

8.4.12

Education bubble

Recently I had a conversation with a close friend of mine about education bubble. How everyone has two or three diplomas, multiple masters but still can’t find a job. Is it possible? Supposingly when you follow a master’s program, you do it because you like it and because it will increase the chances to find a job, but why this is not the case?

In industry, you create a product, you make others believe it is mandatory to use and people buy it. The same rules apply to education. You create a variety of courses, you make others believe that your product is competitive and so, you get the money. Look England for example, they have a huge amount of Universities and every year they print tons of papers for degrees. Of course England is not the problem, the same rules apply worldwide, people pay to get a piece of paper that gives them a value.

The question is if this piece of paper really has value. From one hand when you print tons of papers you have inflation, meaning the value of the paper drops since you don’t have the unique privilege. On the other, when money flow to a direction bubbles start to appear.  Since people pay a lot of money to do a master’s program, it is obvious that more schools will appear to satisfy that need. The more schools you have, it is obvious the education level will drop.

So today we are talking about crisis unemployment etc. Except from the fact that global economy has fall in the mud, how is it possible to create jobs for all those people? The more graduates with a less ”serious” diploma you have, it is more likely for them to stay unemployed.

Wrath of the Titans review

Firstly I have to say that when I watched the first movie (Clash of the Titans) I didn't like it. It didn't have enough action, the impressive scenes were not as amazing as I would expect and the 3D part of the movie was so badly implemented that I was dizzy after the end of the movie. Generally when I leave the cinema wondering what more did that movie offer except from the scenes the trailer already provided something is wrong. So I was a bit suspicious when I heard about the sequel. The trailer left some promise, my brother insisted on seeing it and I had nothing better to do. Needless to say I went to see it and here is my point of view.

I blame genetics

Four days ago I saw a study about two genes which have a role on why people enjoy dietary fat.

Here is the description of the study from newswise.com

Description

While high-fat foods are thought to be of universal appeal, there is actually a lot of variation in the extent to which people like and consume fat. A new study in the March issue of the Journal of Food Science, published by the Institute of Food Technologists, reported that two specific genes (TAS2R38–a bitter taste receptor and CD36–a possible fat receptor), may play a role in some people’s ability to taste and enjoy dietary fat. By understanding the role of these two genes, food scientists may be able to help people who have trouble controlling how much fat they eat.

A crime not yet finished

As you may know, this blog is written by two Greeks. If there are some people who know a lot more about what is going in the Greek society, it’s us not the media you are watching. On Sunday, Greeks celebrate their liberation against Turkish occupation and the reestablishment of their democracy. Unfortunately this year is the worst this place has ever seen since then. Our lands are mortgaged as collateral to foreign banks, we have an unelected prime minister, we have a 400% increase in suicides, we didn’t vote for the loans we got, we have over 20% of unemployment and still I believe the worst are yet to come…

Walking. The underestimated form of exercise

One day this year on my way back to home after attending a university lesson a choice came to my mind. My regular way of going back was get the subway and after arriving at the station nearest to my home  a 5 minute walk. That day though i was in the mood of trying to walk all the way.

My train of thought was something like this: my usual time in order to return home by using the subway(including the wait times in between the trains) was 30-40 minutes, with one more hour  i would be able to do this by walking the whole way. I had also planned a running session that day which would take an hour of my time that day. So i came to the conclusion that it would be nice to not run but to combine my return home with my exercise of the day. I started walking. After one hour and fourty five minutes, lots of sweat and roughly twelve km of walking i was home.

15.3.12

Risk vs Reward

One of the most popular advises around is that the best way to win by gambling is to not gamble at all. By using pure logic this is obviously correct. By not playing a game you don't risk the money or anything else you would have to give to join the game. So you keep your initial investment free of risk. I was a fan of that advise until someone I know told me that by doing this you exclude yourself from the potential reward as well.

12.3.12

Survival of the fittest

Yesterday I saw the movie called The Gray. The movie is good but this isn't the topic I want to talk about. The movie is about a group of people who try to survive after a plane crash in a hostile environment full of wolves. In a scene they try to walk through an area full of snow and one of them struggles to follow and he is left behind. Some seconds before the others notice this he is isolated by a group of wolves and not surprisingly he gets killed before getting the chance of being protected. This scene and generally the whole movie got me thinking that we have forgot this basic rule of nature: the survival of the fittest.

10.3.12

The death of capitalism? (part2 finale)

On my previous article we saw a little bit about what's going on in the global scene. Also we saw a bit about the interaction between the east and the west. How crisis from one continent can spread on to another and the cycle of the economy. Today we will see a simple example showing us, why this crisis was created in the first place.

9.3.12

Diminishing returns

I remember when i was playing a videogame that some of the stats the game had were subject to a thing called diminishing returns. It meant that the more you got from that particular stat the less benefit you would get from it. It was there mainly as a way of preventing those stats of being overpowered. The interesting part of this is that diminishing returns are applied to most things in life too.

7.3.12

The death of capitalism? (part1 intro)

In the last year we hear about financial problems and bubbles all over the world, USA, Europe, Japan. Most of the countries are in great debt and are struggling to serve it. Is this the end of capitalism as we know it? Will we see another type of economy in the next years, or a total collapse? If I knew I wouldn’t be writing this article and for sure, I wouldn’t share this info with anyone else, but nevertheless there are some facts which we must see and mark them bold.

5.3.12

Hugo

After watching the Oscars last Monday I realized that I haven't seen some movies that had a lot of hype that night. One of them was Hugo. The movie took most of the technical Oscars so I expected that the hype that the movie takes 3D one step up should be true. Also lets not forget that it was directed by one of the most brilliant men of the cinema industry Martin Scorsese which most of the times is enough for a movie to be quality stuff. Anyway I watched the film, even though there is some time since it was first released, and here is my impression.

3.3.12

Drug interactions

Last week an unfortunate and near death experience happened to me. After I finished my daily workout routine, I took my multivitamins with lunch and after a while my antibiotic (because of a bad cold I had caught).  It was a huge mistake, maybe the biggest of my life…  After a while my urine turned red and started to have awful pain on my right kidney. During my hospitalization I started having seizures but luckily now; I am alive but one of my kidneys has been shut down permanently…

2.3.12

Caffeine

For most people a part of their daily routine is to start their day with a cap of coffee. You may have heard the usual phrase coffee drinkers use (or maybe even you have said it) “I simply cant function without one in the morning”. Have you ever wondered what makes this magical drink tick? Most likely not because you know the answer. The substance which makes coffee work and gives you the magical benefits of mind awareness and the ability to do all-nighters is ,you guessed right, caffeine.

29.2.12

Hitting the switch

There are times in life where a big and unexpected event occurs. Usually there are no signs for what it’s about to happen and so the “victim” is unprepared, meaning that the shock will be much greater. When this or those events occur, they lead to a total change of life stance (or partial) and then we can say that we have hit the switch.

27.2.12

Public apathy

Every day we are witnessing many things that give us discomfort. It is easy to hear about a robbery, murders, accidents with lots of deaths in them or even war. The massive wave of information provided by the media and the Internet every day makes this possible. The result of this dose of daily sight of unfortunate events is that people get used to them. You may have witnessed it on yourself. You may saw about a murder on the news and your mental response would be that happens every day who cares. This may be an extreme example and that situation depends on each person's sensitivities but you get the point. Anyway this paragraph just described how public apathy is made.

25.2.12

Clarity might save your life...

Recently a relative of mine had a major accident. He works as a security guard in a public school, in an area where many immigrants live. Recently during a regular check before he finished his shift, he was attack by 3 people furiously. It doesn’t matter if they were drug users or thieves, what matters is that he was left almost unconscious in the dark, bleeding badly and had his nose broken like Lego bricks.

23.2.12

Two months under snow without food.

Last week I wrote about how people don't really know what they are capable of unless they find themselves under extreme situations. Furthermore I mentioned that when those situations are not your choice but are forced on you surviving them gives you the title of truly hardcore. Three days ago I saw this article and I think that it fits perfectly to the essence of the post I wrote.

22.2.12

Why I hate iphone part2

Last week we saw my arguments, about why iphone sucks and today we will see a lot more reasons.

I really cannot understand why a new iphone gets on the market every 6 months. Of course Apple has only one cell phone to sell, in comparison to other companies, so in order to keep up with the competition; they have to improve their products. If you look closer to the last iphone models though there are not major differences. They almost have the same design and there are no major improvements in the technology.

21.2.12

Vanity: How it destroys people's lives

I remember discussing with a girl about life. Inevitably the discussion came to the point of shopping and how much did she like it. My response at the time was do you really need so many clothes and she answered I don't really need them but it is a nice feeling seeing others stare or congratulate me when I wear an new one. I didn't want to continue discussing that matter when she also complained that she didn't get enough money monthly to sustain herself. Let's say that the rest of the discussion didn't go well.

19.2.12

Why I hate iphone part1

It is the lastest trend to buy an iphone. Many people own one and they are cocky about it. For me it is just a piece of crap decorated with a silk ribbon to appear like a valuable jewel. I haven't owned one and I strongly doubt I will buy one in the future. I believe there are much better options in the market and for a number of reasons I will explain,

First of all I will talk about iphone owners. I believe that mostly, they are people who don't have an idea about technology and they have related iphone on their head, as the best cell phone. They are the average people who want to feel like they have something special in their hands and are the sheeps who give millions to apple. Of course there are exceptions, like those who bought some of the first models which included some pioneer implementation. So in my mind the average user is a brain dead idiot who doesn't know why he got one and how to take advantage of the full potential of the cells' capabilities.

Second I don't believe it worths that much. If we see pricing on iphones and compare them to cell phones from other companies, we will see that we can get much more with much less. For example sony ericsson neo v has only a little worse specs from iphone 4s and still one costs 300$ and the other starts from 600$! It is part of their marketing to find suckers and sell them something for much more. Their branding team has done a great job on promoting this product to suckers but sorry, I don’t want to be one of them...

18.2.12

False news, false perception

It is common to see on blogs, portals and even on TV and newspapers false news.  Recently I read a statement spoken supposingly from Soros, suggesting that a global war in on its way and USA are going to win versus China and Russia. Of course all these statements are ridiculous lies! The post first was published from a portal named dailysquib, which satirizes current events, but the blog which I read it on, “forgot” to mention the source and that it is fake. I replied with a comment including evidence and hopefully it wasn’t deleted. Most of the viewers agreed with my opinion and the evidence but the author didn’t seem to care as the post remains until now...

17.2.12

Is debt bad?

Tivadar's post on Monday was delightful and included some simple arguments to answer to those who suggest that austerity measures are the only solution to the European problems. But today I will like to develop his thought a little bit further...

Before we start we have to clarify that the European problem is not about debt, everywhere on the news you hear about debts etc. and that is wrong! It is about debt servicing, because there are countries which have trillions of debt and can pay it (at least for now) without a problem and there are others who can't, as we discussed in the past. This leads to lack of trust and as a result to lack of financing.

15.2.12

Τhe truly hardcore

I remember when I was playing a videogame and I managed after many hours to achieve a certain goal in it I considered myself hardcore. In my mind that was a truly hard thing to do and I thought that only a very small amount of people would be able to do that. I had also the same feeling for various other meaningless things like reading all night for a test and things like that. I was that naive.

14.2.12

But I gained weight while doing that routine..

You finally got the decision to change your body. You go to the gym happy that finally you are going to lose weight gaining some muscle in the process. You get a program and you start doing everything religiously in hope that the scale will reflect your hard work. At first you see some results:the magical weight number is lower. Suddenly a day comes when not only you stopped losing weight but you gained weight. You are doing something wrong clearly. But this may not be the truth..

13.2.12

A country isn't equal to a household

The European debt crisis is still at large. There are still attempts of finding a solution for this problem. It seems that everything that was done until now to solve this is not enough. The wonderful thing about this situation is that suddenly everyone knows everything about debt and everyone has their own version of a solution. The most popular opinion is the one which compares a country to a household. The supporters of this idea say something like this: I don't spend more than I earn so I don't have the need to borrow money. So the countries should not borrow money and they should not have debt because they act the same as an individual but on a larger scale...

12.2.12

No investments no growth

The last days we hear a lot of noise about the Greek issue. Will their congress pass the new laws? Will the PSI be implemented on the Greek bonds and economy will be once more in stability? We will know soon…

11.2.12

Don’t be mislead

It is common to see everywhere on the net working out programs that give you mass, strength, flexibility and a perfect body. You will see ripped abs and huge biceps along with heavy metal music on the background. Of course in order to have the same results, you must follow carefully the program that the expert has to offer because as always, his majesty has found the secret to the perfect body that no one else has.

9.2.12

Working out with discipline

It is common to see in gyms people of different ages and different body times. There are thin guys, regular and muscular or beasts. Of course each category follows a different workout program because it has different needs. Problems start to happen when you see people from one category jump to another, instead of progressing gradually.

8.2.12

Avoiding the Internet scam

It's a dangerous world out there. There are dangerous people around every corner looking for an opportunity to take advantage of you. By being careful you can avoid those people though because you can see the signs most of the time. Then you see the Internet and you realize that things are even worse there. Anonymity and the general someone behind a computer thing makes things difficult. For example you get a phone call from your bank  in the physical world and you are sure of what is happening. You get an e-mail from the same organization, things get suspicious and require double checking. Let's face it: it is extremely easy to get scammed on the Internet and valuable things such as credit cards or personal information are on stake.

7.2.12

Mercury poisoning. Can it happen to you?

Tuna is a delicious fish which is also a very useful tool for many people who are interested on getting their appropriate amount of daily protein. Every good thing though has a bad side. The bad side of tuna is that it was found to contain amounts of a metallic element called mercury. To be more precise it was found in many species of the water wildlife. After that discovery as usual panic mode ensued with people stopping consuming fish. Even today there is still a discussion about whether are we able to consume canned tuna on a daily basis or it should be avoided entirely.

Saving for a sunny day or personal finance for dummies

Most people have a weird connection with money. By that I mean that they can't handle them properly . How many times have you wondered what happened to the money I had in my wallet? You thought you should have more but the wallet or the bank account sadly doesn't lie. Before you think that I am going to tell you to stop spending that much I am going to say that this is not the solution either. You may have noticed that when specialists  mention saving money they say that you must have a plan. The truth is that this is the only thing needed in order to have some money on the side for an emergency or , wait for it, for an opportunity

5.2.12

Haircut won't solve anything

On my previous post I wrote about interest rates and sustainability of the Greek debt. It is clear that with those numbers debt can't be served.  We talked a bit about haircut and now everywhere in the news we hear about PSI and disputes about the level of percentage. The question is whether haircut is a good solution or not and if it’s the only way for salvation.

4.2.12

Anonymous strike in Greece

Before we start I would like to say that I used to be a hacker but then I took an arrow in the knee… Today we had an act of support from Anonymous to the Greek people, by hacking Ministry of Justice web page and uploading the following video and text. As a Greek citizen I have to say that I feel very good when people show a small act of support but in this case I will save my gratitude for another time…

And the text:

3.2.12

Young people fresh ideas

When I hear conversations between elder people, older relatives and common friends or on TV, there is always a fraise like “Children are the future” or “New people have fresh ideas” or “children will create a better world for all of us” etc. Listening to those words a question emerges, are children really the bright future we wish?

1.2.12

Οmega-3 Fatty Acids

Omega-3 fatty acids are one of the most famous kind of fat.In the post I did about fat I did a brief mention about them. They are considered essential for everyone for many reasons but the truth is that most people don't know why.To be honest most people don't know anything about them. The result is that they are being missed from their diet which has a lot of nasty consequences both long and short term.So here you are going to find their benefits , along with links to the research to back it up , plus the best sources of  them.

31.1.12

ACTA and PCIPA

I wrote about SOPA and PIPA at this post.I wrote that the safety of internet freedom would be temporary and that soon enough new laws would emerge.I was a bit surprised noticing that even before i wrote that post there were already two new bills and of course some movement against them.So i present to you ACTA and PCIPA.(seriously something is wrong with those acronyms).

30.1.12

Underworld: Awakening

The plot: The movie starts with a description of what happened on the first two films ,the third was a prequel so it does not  count, which in a few words was the war between Vampires and Lycans(werewolves) and the actions of the vampire Selene during that war. Then we see that things changed because humans found about the existence of these two species(?) and there is a shift from hunted to hunters leading to an attempt to exterminate them.During this extermination called the Purge, which is very graphically presented by the movie, Selene is getting caught, frozen and she wakes up twelve years later in a different world which has a lot of surprises for her.

Simple tips to lose fat Pt. 2

Yesterday we saw what I did to lose the extra weight and today we will see why I followed those steps.

First of all some things I didn't mention in my previous article. When I followed the bodybuilding diet, I did it the wrong way meaning, I started eating too much calories and didn't progress gradually. Second on my meals I was eating low fat milk products (cheese and milk). It was wrong and I believe I would have better results if I ate this extra fat.

Now lets explain each step:

27.1.12

Simple tips to lose fat Pt. 1

First of all I would like to clarify that the following tips are from personal experience only. If you need to start a diet I strongly advise you to talk to an expert.

Now, one year ago I was around 97kg when my average weight was about 89-90 kg (I am 1.90 meters tall). What had happened? I started weight lifting and on the same time listening to the so called bodybuilding experts, suggesting that you should eat 5 meals a day with a calorie progression each week. Of course it took time to understand that what they were implying were not for guys like me who just wanted to stay fit and have an increase in strength and a bit extra muscle. Before I stopped doing the bodybuilding diet I was consuming around 4500-5500 calories each day every week every month for four months. It was obvious that if I continued this way soon I would need to borrow a wonder bra from my girlfriend!

ok I got fat but not that much!

Human perfection outmatch AI

This week I saw the following video on YouTube demonstrating a robot prototype named PETMAN. It was created by Boston Dynamics and will be used for military testing and specific: “PETMAN simulates human physiology by controlling temperature, humidity and sweating inside the clothing to provide realistic test conditions” After I saw the video description I laughed so hard and then for a moment I went back to the 80s when we saw movies like Robocop and Terminator, battling for the good of the human race…

26.1.12

Diablo III Show me the money(or not)

The prequel of this post here
Now you may wonder and where will I get those things?Well they are going to be looted by creatures or created by artisans or traded by other players. The thing that surprised everyone was that  Blizzard will release the game with a Real Money Auction House in it along with its gold equivalent of course as gold is the main currency of the game.To say it simply people will be able to buy and sell game items for..wait for it... real money. The gaming community response was mixed on this thing. Many are saying that it will destroy the game itself, others say that it will define gaming and generally everyone has a different opinion. In my opinion this is not something new.People were buying and selling items with real money in Diablo II and in other games. It just wasn't legal game wise in most of the occasions. Now this is going to happen under the company's control while gaining money from fees(yup they will exist).

24.1.12

Diablo III A revolution or something else?

Since I got a request about it today I am writing about the highly anticipated Diablo III.The game for those who live under a rock or who simply don't care about computer gaming will be the third installment of the popular Blizzard's franchise. The two previous installments were met with unbelievable success because of the straightforward and enjoyable gameplay, the intriguing story and the replay value of them because of the difficulties. So anyone can see why the third game is so highly anticipated.

The opening cinematic is even more impressive and you can see it here

Τhe crash and burn of internet control(for now)

Jack at Saturdays post wrote about SOPA and PIPA.He covered the whole thing well but the thing that post missed was the fact that after Wednesday's internet outcry the political forces behind those acts reconsidered their positions and for now they will be put in a shelve. To be more precise SOPA support was withdrawn after the internet protest mentioned above in which major sites participated like Google and Wikipedia. On Friday House Judiciary Committee Chairman Lamar Smith (R-Texas) announced  that he will postpone consideration of SOPA until there is wider agreement on the controversial legislation. That announcement happened after PIPA also got shelved some minutes earlier.

20.1.12

To haircut or not to haircut?

Yesterday we saw why Greek Debt is unbearable and could bring even USA to its knees.  Everyone in the news talks about haircut and the percentage which will be forced. Of course we will see at least a 60% haircut in bonds but is this policy fair for everyone?

19.1.12

Why Greek Debt can't be served

Every nation in the globe is in debt. Particularly in Europe things have turned ugly. The PIGS as many racists call Portugal, Italy, Greece and Spain seem to be the problem, but the shiniest of all four is Greece. Media loves her, analysts do whatever possible to dug her and the hole world has a daily headache about how things are going to turn up and the questions is WHY? USA have 15 trillions of debt, UK 9 trillion, France and Germany about 4.7 trillion and still everyone points at Greece with only 530 million, what is the problem here?
Haircut, everybody wants one!

18.1.12

How to use pubmed

Yesterday I did a brief overview of how science works.Today I am going to post some guidelines about one of the most popular scientific sites pubmed.com.It is a site which targets are mainly people occupied with the medical proffession. That site gets a lot of attention lately because of its use by the fitness world too in their combat against broscience.Don't expect a guide about how to use the site.It is actually very easy to navigate. You just search for the thing you want and every study done about it is presented in front of,internet magic I know.On the contrary this post is about some things you must be careful about when you draw conclusions about a subject there.

17.1.12

It's science

I was doing my regular internet surfing when I came along this video.

After my initial shock passed ,my faith to humanity didn't return though,I was wondering how misguided some people are about science and how they misunderstand  scientific theories. That man on the video has other motives clearly but this is another subject to discuss.

14.1.12

Price determines the value?

Today's article was an instant inspiration, I was going to write a post purely about economics but it seems it will be postponed until next week. Yesterday my Panasonic pc headphones broke up and today I went shopping to buy some new, but instead of picking a well known and reliable brand, I chose Carrefour headphones. I saw the specs and a comparison with my previous Panasonics made me thought they worthed a try.  After all they cost only 11$ and 1 year guarantee is included. When I used them, I was impressed!! They sound so professional, like my 230$ headphones I use for my synthesizer (except from a minor bass gain)!! So the question came on my mind and is plain and simple, why pay for something that is more expensive and possible not as good as a cheaper brand?

nigga approved headphones

Humanity is on a crucial curve.

Today’s post is not about 2012, nor about UFO’s and the return of ET because he forgot his pair of sunglasses.

13.1.12

Mozilla Firefox vs Google Chrome

Many of you have anticipated this match and today we have the pleasure to present it !! Mozilla Firefox vs Google Chrome …. Get ready to rumble!!!

Now I will talk mostly from personal experience, I have used both browsers for years and I consider myself an above average user, so what I have to say covers 95% of individuals.

9.1.12

Your dream job.Next week from a company near you

Sadly in the real world this doesn't happen. The dream job is an elusive thing that only a very very small amount of the human population will experience during a period of a lifetime.Sometimes it seems like it is a unicorn. Many claim that they have seen it but  you have not and most probably .It is true that a dream job description differs from a person to another but most of the times it is about getting a lot of money with the least effort or just being employed while doing the thing you are passionate with. These two are difficult to find on their own but most people in the back of their head have the idea that they can have both. This is why the phrase dream job has the word dream in it.

8.1.12

I am # 1 so why try harder? part2

Yesterday we talked about Kodak bad management which led to bankruptcy. Today we will see another example, Nokia. A similar story but with a happy ending, so far at least...

Nokia as many of you remember went crazy on sales in the 90's. I remember everyone in school and friends having at least one Nokia device. They had the best cell phones, pricing was good, really reliable, best cameras everything about them was pioneer  (mine kept for 7 years until I stepped on it, on a Prodigy live..). Between 1996 and 2001 Nokia’s sales increased almost fivefold, to reach €31 billion. Just imagine that!! They owned the market and played the game as they wanted until....

6.1.12

I am # 1 so why try harder? part1

The title of this article was inspired by Fatboy Slim 's  album

Τoday I heared the news about  Kodak and instantly this title of my favorite Dj came on my mind. How it is even possible for a giant like this to be one step before bankrupcy? Really wtf??? This company is a legend and has shaped the modern world (in a small part of cource).

5.1.12

Smart USA stupid EU

I am sure most of you have heard about the economic crisis which affects most of the European countries and their banks. If you haven't I would suggest you to go and see an otolaryngologist. Recently I read an article on cnbc stating that European banks sell their assets to have the liquidity required for them to fulfill the European Banking Authority's deadline, to raise more than 114 billion euro ($149 billion) in fresh capital until June. Now many companies and investment groups from US seize the opportunity and buy those assets.
