Last week we saw my arguments, about why iphone sucks and today we will see a lot more reasons.
I really cannot understand why a new iphone gets on the market every 6 months. Of course Apple has only one cell phone to sell, in comparison to other companies, so in order to keep up with the competition; they have to improve their products. If you look closer to the last iphone models though there are not major differences. They almost have the same design and there are no major improvements in the technology.
If you remember from my previous article about Nokia, Apple as well, from a pioneer company has become a follower in the cell phone technology. Look for example their latest phone, iphone 4s. They used an 8 Mp camera when other companies included them on their products 2 years ago. Also 1080p video was there before iphone. So nothing new and I doubt they marketing policy will help for much longer if they continue this way.
Finally some other major problems that iphones have:
1) Design almost stayed the same through the years
2) In order to have extra disk size you have to buy more expensive versions of the phone, since no SD card is available.
3) Screen breaks easily after a drop
4) Only two colors to choose from
5) No Bluetooth file transfer support
6) You cannot transfer data from iphone to pc through usb but have to use itunes
7) You cannot remove the battery and if you want to replace it you will have to send it to the Apple service department
8) You have to use jailbreak to unlock some iphones functionalities but then guaranty won’t cover the product
