Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol

At Thursday I went to see Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol. This post, obviously,is  my opinion about the movie. The trailer of the movie:

The movie is about an IMF agent called Ethan Hunt as was the the three previous movies before this. His organization is framed for a bombing in Kremlin,it shuts down and Ethan and his team try to find who is behind all this.As the movie progresses we learn more things about who is behind all this mess and everything about his motives.

You may have guessed that the scenario isnt the strongest point of the movie and you will be right. It is the typical agent is trying to find someone and kill him ala Jame Bond.So it isnt as sophisticated as the first or the third movie of the series which focused a bit more on character development. It focuses more in breathtaking action instead.

This is the strongest point of the movie. As usual there are a lot of fight scenes, loads of special effects(a huge sandstorm for example) and generally the action pace of the movie is really good.It slows down a bit at the end after some point but it isnt a big deal. The trademark scene of the movie is the Burj Khalifa scene and that scene is a reason to see this movie in itself. The most impressive thing about it is that Tom Cruise did it himself without the use of a stuntman.

Finally I have to say that the acting performances are nice but nothing special. Also there are some scenes with good humor but they present a break from the relentless action and nothing more.To conclude the film is very good for an eye candy and highly enjoyble but for someone who wants something more sophisticated I guess he will have to see something else. This doesnt demote the movie a bit.I just guess that the bar is set too high from the Bourne trilogy for spy/agent movies.

PS.That BMW in the movie...i cant describe it with words so see it for yourself here
