There are times in life where a big and unexpected event occurs. Usually there are no signs for what it’s about to happen and so the “victim” is unprepared, meaning that the shock will be much greater. When this or those events occur, they lead to a total change of life stance (or partial) and then we can say that we have hit the switch.

Public apathy
Every day we are witnessing many things that give us discomfort. It is easy to hear about a robbery, murders, accidents with lots of deaths in them or even war. The massive wave of information provided by the media and the Internet every day makes this possible. The result of this dose of daily sight of unfortunate events is that people get used to them. You may have witnessed it on yourself. You may saw about a murder on the news and your mental response would be that happens every day who cares. This may be an extreme example and that situation depends on each person's sensitivities but you get the point. Anyway this paragraph just described how public apathy is made.

Clarity might save your life...
Recently a relative of mine had a major accident. He works as a security guard in a public school, in an area where many immigrants live. Recently during a regular check before he finished his shift, he was attack by 3 people furiously. It doesn’t matter if they were drug users or thieves, what matters is that he was left almost unconscious in the dark, bleeding badly and had his nose broken like Lego bricks.

Two months under snow without food.
Last week I wrote about how people don't really know what they are capable of unless they find themselves under extreme situations. Furthermore I mentioned that when those situations are not your choice but are forced on you surviving them gives you the title of truly hardcore. Three days ago I saw this article and I think that it fits perfectly to the essence of the post I wrote.

Why I hate iphone part2
Last week we saw my arguments, about why iphone sucks and today we will see a lot more reasons.
I really cannot understand why a new iphone gets on the market every 6 months. Of course Apple has only one cell phone to sell, in comparison to other companies, so in order to keep up with the competition; they have to improve their products. If you look closer to the last iphone models though there are not major differences. They almost have the same design and there are no major improvements in the technology.

Vanity: How it destroys people's lives
I remember discussing with a girl about life. Inevitably the discussion came to the point of shopping and how much did she like it. My response at the time was do you really need so many clothes and she answered I don't really need them but it is a nice feeling seeing others stare or congratulate me when I wear an new one. I didn't want to continue discussing that matter when she also complained that she didn't get enough money monthly to sustain herself. Let's say that the rest of the discussion didn't go well.

Why I hate iphone part1
It is the lastest trend to buy an iphone. Many people own one and they are cocky about it. For me it is just a piece of crap decorated with a silk ribbon to appear like a valuable jewel. I haven't owned one and I strongly doubt I will buy one in the future. I believe there are much better options in the market and for a number of reasons I will explain,
First of all I will talk about iphone owners. I believe that mostly, they are people who don't have an idea about technology and they have related iphone on their head, as the best cell phone. They are the average people who want to feel like they have something special in their hands and are the sheeps who give millions to apple. Of course there are exceptions, like those who bought some of the first models which included some pioneer implementation. So in my mind the average user is a brain dead idiot who doesn't know why he got one and how to take advantage of the full potential of the cells' capabilities.
Second I don't believe it worths that much. If we see pricing on iphones and compare them to cell phones from other companies, we will see that we can get much more with much less. For example sony ericsson neo v has only a little worse specs from iphone 4s and still one costs 300$ and the other starts from 600$! It is part of their marketing to find suckers and sell them something for much more. Their branding team has done a great job on promoting this product to suckers but sorry, I don’t want to be one of them...

False news, false perception
It is common to see on blogs, portals and even on TV and newspapers false news. Recently I read a statement spoken supposingly from Soros, suggesting that a global war in on its way and USA are going to win versus China and Russia. Of course all these statements are ridiculous lies! The post first was published from a portal named dailysquib, which satirizes current events, but the blog which I read it on, “forgot” to mention the source and that it is fake. I replied with a comment including evidence and hopefully it wasn’t deleted. Most of the viewers agreed with my opinion and the evidence but the author didn’t seem to care as the post remains until now...
